WHERE: The bottom of the chin.

WHAT: This residue is a candidate for interacting with actin since it is exposed on the appropriate portion of the motor. It has been proposed to interact with a differenct actin monomer than other actin binding residues. R562H is one of the original cold-sensitive mutations.

FRIENDS & RELATIONS: R562H can be suppressed by many of the same suppressors as E531Q[G12] and P536R[G13] as well as delWrinkle[H10-11]
