WHERE: N483S is in the CamSaft near the elbow joint. It also represent the closest approach between the CamShaft and G680V[G7]. WHAT: This mutation was first isolated as a suppressor of G680V[G7]. It confers a severe plaque expansion rate defect in vivo. FRIENDS & RELATIONS: Suppressors of this mutation show striking overlap with those of Y494K[I5], W501L[I5] and G691C. It shares M486I [G7] as a suppressor with the ActBind family of mutants (E531Q[G12], P536R[G13], P536R[G13]). It is also suppressed by E560K[G10] , a suppressor of both L453F [E7] and R562H[G10] Image: N483 can be found in the G680V and CamShaft Mirrors
