An emerging view of genetic 'families' and their interactions.Mutations shown in boxes are united by their genetic properties (who they suppress and are suppressed by). Arrows indicate suppression; the arrowhead points to the mutation that IS SUPPRESSED (often the relationships is reciprocal, hence the double-headed arrows). When an arrow points to a box, it applies to most or all its members; when an arrow penetrates a box to point at one member, it applies only to that member. Ellipses indicate cases where a mutation has joint membership is several boxes. Eventually this will be a clickable image map.
