Insect Physiology Course Description

I expect that most of you taking the course will have a research project that "somehow" has ties to Insect Physiology.

My purpose in offering this course is to enable you to acquire a solid understanding of insect physiolgoy as it applies to your particular research topics yet also give you reasonable exposure to the wider field of insect physiology.

Of course, if you are simply interested in insect physiology, you are more than welcome to come, too.

We will study current research papers in a variety of topics, with an emphasis on research being performed at The University of Arizona.

The course is writing-intensive, but of a kind from which I hope you can extract great benefit! See Assignments and Grading.
